The Frontline Formation Community
What this Place is All About

Frontline Formation
We are an online gaming community supported and run by its members. Whatever games we are currently running will be listed on our main page. We will add new game servers as our population increases and if the demand is out there. Adding games and servers costs money of course and since we are run by members of the community, we can only run what our donations will allow. If you want to see a new game picked up by our community, bring it up in the forums and see what people think.

=FFC=
We refer to ourselves as the Frontline Formation Community and you will often see members with the =FFC= tag in game. A number of our members play on competitive teams or belong to clans so you will see a wide variety of tags floating around here and you'll face some stiff competition in game. Our =FFC= members have also started a scrim team which you can read more about here. If you are interested in becoming a member of =FFC= check out this page here.

Admins
Everyone is here to play games and have fun. To make sure that the game stays fun for everyone we have assembled a top notch team of server admins to keep our servers running, manage map rotations, moderate our forums and keep team killers and cheaters off of our servers. Not everyone with an =FFC= tag is a server admin and many of our admins either wear no tag at all or have another tag all together. We're all over and online all the time. Having as many admins as we do ensure that we can make everyone's gaming experience as fun as possible.

Zero Tolerance for Cheaters
In order to make our server(s) a fun environment for everyone we have a zero tolerance policy for cheaters that applies not only to our guests but to our members as well. Since our server employs the most up to date anti-cheats available, if you're caught cheating, not only will you be banned from our server, but you'll automatically be placed on the Master Ban List (MBL) as well. Don't ever download or "test" cheats. That's what the professionals are for. If you're busted for cheats, no matter why they were on your computer, there's nothing we can do to get you off the MBL.

Learn the Rules
The game specific rules for the server(s) are posted in the forums but are generally the same no matter what game you may find here. It may seem like we have a lot of rules but they aren't complicated and are designed to ensure fairness for everyone.

- Have fun. This community is all about having fun, just remember to be considerate of your fellow players.

- Don’t whine. Life is not fair and sometimes you have to suck it up and move on.

- Do not team kill or "bleed" the health of fellow teammates.

- Do not drive vehicles to air craft or leave vehicles on the runway.

- Base camping is allowed and is part of the game but it's frowned upon. If it becomes an issue an admin may ask you to leave a base. Please comply with any admin requests.

- Do not move someone else’s active vehicle. Granted, many vehicles with multiple seats exist, but if someone is in the gunner position, you should not drive the vehicle away.

- Do not take a vehicle from someone who is repairing it. You may jump in the gunners position to provide cover fire but exit the vehicle as soon as it's repaired.

- If you've been kicked, don't jam up the chat log or TeamSpeak arguing your case. Bring it to the forums or ask the admin if they can spare a few minutes in TS.

- Do not tell an admin to kick or ban someone. Admins must defend their actions and a decision to kick or ban is not up to a player. Players are the eyes for the admins, let them know what you see, but the admin will make a decision concerning corrective actions. Repeated requests to kick/ban an individual will get YOU kicked. If you see a TK, let the admin know. He will take care of it. If you are TK’d and you subsequently TK back…BOTH players will be kicked.

- If Team Kill Punish is an option, use it only for intentional TK's and not for accidents.

- "Stats Padding" on games like BF2 that record stats is not allowed.

Basically, it comes down to treating others on the server with respect and treating them as you would wish to be treated in return. Most rules are enforced with a kick but if a second kick is require you'll more than likely find yourself banned.

What to do if You Get Banned
If you are BANNED from our server, the Admin who initiated the ban is required to state a reason in game prior to taking action. The Admin is required to log his action in the public ban list in the forums, which includes the name of the player, keyhash, the date banned and a brief summary of the cause for the action. This log is available to everyone on the server.

An appeals forum is available on the FFC wesite in the forums. You are welcome to make use of this avenue. The Admin responsible for the action is required to respond to the appeals forum within 24 hrs. Be forewarned all admins maintain server activity logs. This activity log will be considered evidence or justification and will be reviewed in the process of considering your appeal. Complaining will not help your case, and in many situations, hurts your appeal. Be truthfull and if you screwed up, come clean and appologize. We respect that. If your ban is cleared and you're caught repeating the behavior that got you banned the first time, your subsequent ban will be permanent.

If you've been banned for cheating, please see the above section about cheats. Once you're on the MBL there's nothing we can do.
